JP33 Random Photography
This is a look at some of the photographs I’ve taken in the past year. I shoot with a Nikon D90 and mostly use a 50mm 1.8. Occasionally I throw my kit lens on to get a wide shot.
I’ve gone back and forth with different styles, but I tend to lean towards a black and white, darker processing style.
...and it over takes you.
A photo taken during one of the few snow falls in Dallas winters. Normally there are 3-4 snow falls per winter season so taking advantage of the beautiful snow is a must.

An album cover design for a mix-tape inspired by early 90’s west coast rap. Warren G and Mista Grimm, specifically, were quoted on the cover and mix-tape title itself.

BRILLIANT
An exploratory piece to get the creative juices flowing. Something other than commercial work is a nice way to switch things up and helps clear the head and spark new ideas. A simple type treatment overlaid with mountain ranges, patterns, textures and a few photographs of simple bokeh effects.

From South Post to South Post Oak
Just a shot of some random trees in Santa Fe, NM. I thought the crop on this was so off that it became interesting.
a poster i worked on for my daughter’s room (she’s 20 months old). type work with a little pattern’ed/retro flair. you know, it was just for fun. a larger crop below for some of the fine details.
Another snow shot…really, REALLY, missing it. Doesn’t happen but a few times per year in Dallas. Good news though, the forecast for later this weeks is for low’s of 24, 16 and 17 degrees…supposed to snow 2 of those days as well.
